Kevin's business career has been spent advising and leading innovative companies at every stage of development as both an operating executive and strategic advisor. Since 2001, his professional focus has been at the intersection of traditional healthcare and consumer industries. Currently, he leads TRIA Beauty, an innovative, late stage, venture-backed company forging new ground in consumer aesthetic medicine. TRIA is bringing professional grade, light-based aesthetic skin care treatments out of the doctor's office and into the home, selling its 510(k) regulated, FDA cleared medical devices and complementary topical products directly to consumers through multiple channels and in multiple countries in North America, Asia and Europe. TRIA's 1st product, an at-home laser hair removal device, was recognized as the "breakthrough skin care product of the year" and the company was most recently recognized by Deloitte as one of the nation's fastest growing technology companies based on its exceptional growth rate from 2008-2010.In 2010, Kevin founded and currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Medley Health, a company working to change the delivery of and economic model in primary health care services to improve patient and physician satisfaction, and improve health care outcomes. Kevin also serves on the board of directors at Ventus Medical, a company creating novel medical devices for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing, including obstructive sleep apnea (Rx) and snoring (OTC).
Kevin's prior operating experience includes executive positions with Sephora, part of Paris-based LVMH Group, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and as CEO of venture capital backed e-retailer Tavolo, Inc. He also spent several years in management consulting as Managing Partner with Hawk Hill Advisors, a boutique San Francisco Bay area consultancy, leading engagements focused on accelerating corporate growth through new business innovation and commercializing disruptive new products and services with clients including Procter & Gamble, Chiquita, Motorola, Bare Escentuals and AT&T Wireless, among others.
Kevin received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and began his career as an Army infantry and special operations (Ranger) officer serving tours of duty in peacetime and combat assignments, in the US and abroad. He has been an active member of Young President's Organization since 1999.
Kevin lives with his wife Kendra, daughter Addison and dog Kaki in Marin County, and enjoys taking advantage of everything northern California and Lake Tahoe have to offer, including great biking, skiing, hiking and craft brewed beer.
