Jim is a General Partner at Technology Partners and has been with the firm since early 2002. He serves on the boards of EpiGenesis, Revance Therapeutics, Essentialis, Leptos Biomedical and Spectragenics while also having led Technology Partner’s investment in two companies that have since gone public; Iomai (IOMI) and Cadence Pharmaceuticals (CADX). Jim is also an advisor to the Lester Center at the UC Berkeley and the National Science Foundation (NSF) in Washington, DC. Previously, Jim was Managing Director at CIT Venture Capital, leading the Group's efforts in Life Science investing. Also, Jim was a leader within McKinsey & Company's Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Practice. Jim earned a B.S. from Duke University in Biology / M.E. and a M.A./Ph.D. from Harvard University in Biology. He was a Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD) fellow at Universitaet des Saarlandes, Germany and a post-doctoral fellow at UC Berkeley. Jim has published several papers and had his research highlighted in major media outlets, including: Nature, The New York Times, Scientific American, and CNN. |

| Albert Cha, M.D., Ph.D. is a Managing Partner with Vivo Ventures. He serves on the boards of Biodel (NASDAQ: BIOD) and Bioform Medical (NASDAQ: BFRM) as well as several private biotechnology and medical device companies. Albert has gained valuable operational experience by serving as founding or interim CEO for several portfolio companies. Prior to Vivo, Albert worked at Oracle in pharmaceutical consulting and at the Palo Alto VA as a biomedical engineer. Graduating from Stanford University with a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Albert went on to complete an M.D. and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UCLA Medical School, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and won the prestigious Outstanding Graduate Student Award. His research has been published in highly respected journals such as Nature and Neuron.

Camille specializes in biotechnology investing at Versant. Camille joined Versant in early 2000, shortly after its formation. Prior to Versant, Camille was responsible for business development at Tularik, Inc. (subsequently acquired by Amgen) where she in-licensed two of the company's clinical-stage products and led Tularik’s Technology Acquisition Group. Before Tularik, Camille worked in business development/strategic planning at Genzyme and Millennium Predictive Medicine, and as a management consultant to healthcare and biotech companies at LEK Consulting. Camille currently serves as a board member of the following private companies: Achaogen, Kythera, and APT Pharmaceuticals as well as Novacea, a public company. Camille earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she graduated as a Baker Scholar. In 2002, The Aspen Institute named Camille a Henry Crown Fellow.

Prior to joining PSBF, Steve was a Principal in the Life Sciences Investment Banking group of Hambrecht & Quist. During his five years at H&Q, Steve was involved in over 60 financing and M&A transactions, helping clients raise in excess of $3.3 billion of capital. Prior to H&Q, Steve traded mortgage-backed securities at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. His previous health care sector experience includes over two years as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Marion Labs and two years as a consultant for The Wilkerson Group. Steve serves as Chairman of the Board of MAP Pharmaceuticals, Inc (Nasdaq: MAPP) and as a director of number of private portfolio companies. Steve holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University. |

Mr. Rosenzweig was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Republic of Tea, Senior VP of Odwalla, VP of Nakamichi, CEO of Hambrecht Vineyards and Wineries, and Chairman of Winetasting.com. He co-founded Venture Strategy Group, where he invested in brand-driven businesses including Stonyfield Farms. He was on the faculty at the University of California, Berkeley for 7 years, teaching the MBA course in Social Entrepreneurship.
